The top is a Solid Maple Butcher Block and measuring 6 feet wide is great for entertaining. The base features five drawers (three front drawers and two side drawers) with "long neck" wooden knobs. It also has 3 cabinets (one large two-door cabinet and one one-door cabinet) along with two large open shelves for large pots, cookbooks and crockery. This island measures 72" L x 30" D x 36" H. Cabinet measurements: The left cabinet interior is 24" wide, 20" deep and 18" high. The right cabinet interior is 11 1/2" wide, 20" deep and 18" high. Front Drawer measurements: They are each 11 3/4" wide, 18" deep and 6 1/4" high. Side Drawer mesurements: They both measure 24" wide, 16 1/4" deep and 6 1/4" high. Open Shelf measurements: They are both 11" wide, 18" deep and 18" high. The shelves are 4 3/4" up off the ground.
