Deauville Secretaire is characterized by high-country elegance! This lovely secretary features a tall bookcase with two adjustable shelves to hold books, ledgers or whatever, behind French-wire doors with carved door mouldings. The drop-front desk beneath provides ample work space and small drawers and cubbies to keep one organized. The unit also includes lap-top storage space. The left side of the cupboard under the desk is a pull-out file drawer; the right, a generous storage cupboard with one adjustable shelf. Handsome carved legs and attractive reproduction hardware complete this virtually perfect picture! Using wood from managed forests, this antique-inspired piece can be customized with over 25 hand-applied colors including a 21-step premium faux distressed and crackled painted finish. We also carry the DEAUVILLE SECRETAIRE BASE ONLY. We also offer an additional option of Glass Doors.
This secretary measures 45 1/2" L x 25 1/4" D x 86" H. Drop-down opening: The inside of the desktop is 21.5" deep, and when open, the drop-down makes it 29.75" deep total. Interior measurements: The top interior is 40" wide, 11 1/4" deep and 40 1/4" high. The drop-down opening is 40" wide, 29 3/4" deep when open and 3" high under the cubbies. The right-hand base opening is 20" wide, 21 1/2" deep and 30 1/4" high.
