Many of our pieces have an estimated production time of 3-4 weeks while some have an estimated production time of 8-12 weeks. Call us for the latest production time available on a particular item(s). Most estimated delivery times are 10-15 business days after your order is picked up by the carrier. These are estimated dates only and cannot be guaranteed nor held responsible by Coach Barn. Occasionally issues arise that are beyond our control that may lead to additional production time, such as our manufacturers experiencing a backorder on parts. If this is the case you will be alerted as soon as we are made aware that any problem exists. It is important to note that once a piece leaves the production facility, the remaining shipping time is beyond our control. Coach Barn functions as a liaison to get your merchandise transported safely to you. Delays and damages may be caused by the freight company of which we cannot control. Coach Barn will do our absolute best to assist in getting your furniture to you in a timely and safe manner and will notify you immediately if we are made aware of any unexpected delays or problems. It is essential that you inspect all freight shipped items very carefully and only sign for your piece while indicating ANY damage on the bill of lading prior to the driver’s departure.
Coach Barn offers shipping to both residential addresses and commercial businesses starting at $229 per collection. Some of our items require additional charges to ensure they arrive at your home in safe and sound condition. If any additional shipping charge applies above our standard shipping cost, it is noted in the last paragraph on the item detail page which fee(s) is excluded from any Free Shipping Offer. If you reside in a remote area and/or an area not accessible by semi-trucks, you need to inform us prior to ordering (additional charges may be needed). If you need to reschedule your delivery with our carrier please contact them and Coach Barn as soon as possible so as not to incur any charges for missed delivery or storage fees (up to five days). Furniture and large items are often shipped by freight carrier. Some of our collections use an exclusive carrier while with other collections we use various carriers. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm but we cannot guarantee a particular time slot or be responsible for scheduling. Freight companies are instructed to contact you a few days prior to the delivery to confirm the scheduled date. Be sure that you are home and available to receive your merchandise when it arrives. We recommend that you make all necessary arrangments prior to delivery for inspection of your piece(s) and, if applicable, have ready the tools and extra manpower to open the box and examine the contents. It is important to carefully inspect all merchandise for any damages or defects and contact us immediately if this is the case. Although great care is taken by our suppliers, sometimes damage will occur in transit. Please make note of any damage(s) to your furniture or to the packaging materials prior to the driver’s departure when signing the Bill of Lading and contact us immediately with pictures and documentation of all damage. See Damage Policy below. With our European Reproduction Collection and European Classics Collection, shipping is curbside delivery. With our Cottage Collection, Cottage House Collection, Coastal Collection and Traditional Heirloom Collection, the shipper delivers furniture Inside the Threshold of Your Home. With our smaller iltems, we ship via UPS Freight or Fed Ex Freight. If our store policies are not followed, actual shipping charges are non-refundable. We at Coach Barn do our absolute best to ensure that your items arrive on time and in perfect condition, however, there are some things that are out of our control. Our freight carriers handle your pieces with great care but unfortunately damages do occur from time to time. Be sure that you are home and available to receive and inspect the merchandise when it arrives. Please do not arrange for the item(s) to be dropped off when no one is home because you will need to carefully inspect all merchandise for any damage(s) or defect(s) and contact us immediately if this is the case. Prior to signing the Bill of Lading and the driver's departure, you must note all and any damage(s) on the packaging and piece(s) on the Bill of Lading. Otherwise you are signing the Bill of Lading that the contents were received in good condition. You have the right to refuse the delivery of damaged goods. All packaging must be retained during the damage claim process. Coach Barn will be unable to assist you with replacement on damaged goods or reimbursement if these procedures are not followed. If your piece arrives damaged, the freight company and/or manufacturer has the right to have the piece repaired and brought back to the manufacturer's standards at their expense. They do this by sending the piece to a furniture medic or back to the manufacturer for repair. If the freight carrier determines that the piece cannot be repaired, you have the right to be reimbursed for your purchase or have another piece shipped to you at no additional charge.
It is very important to take proper measurements to be certain that your furniture will be perfect for your room. To insure that upon delivery your piece will fit, it is also important to measure doorways, stairways, hallways, tight corners and other obstacles that may interfere in the pathway to where your new piece will be placed.
Return Policy/Cancellation Policy
Since all of our furniture pieces are customized, they are non-returnable and non-refundable. Upon placing your custom order, you have 3 business days to cancel your order for a full refund or make changes. After this 3 day period, your furniture piece is in production and cannot be cancelled or changed. Custom orders for pieces that are modified for your specific needs are final sales and cannot be cancelled once payment has been made. Coach Barn cannot be held responsible for manufacturer or shipping delays. Actual shipping costs incurred, if any, are your responsibility if our store policy is not followed. Because all finishes are hand-applied and are interpreted differently by individual craftsmen, they will vary from piece to piece and are not considered defective but regarded as desirable. Color note: Because every computer monitor displays color differently, we cannot be responsible for variations between the actual product color and how it is displayed on your screen. Descriptions of merchandise, including colors or shades, textures and other features are provided by the manufacturer; Coach Barn assumes no liability whatsoever for the description, for variance, including in colors or textures, minor imperfections and/or for a product not meeting with customer satisfaction, absent a manufacturer-verified defect. In the event of a disputed credit card charge, which is ultimately found to have been legitimate or which otherwise finds, in whole or in part, in favor of Coach Barn, the customer shall be responsible for all attorneys' fees and costs borne by Coach Barn. The terms of any purchase from or dispute with Coach Barn shall be governed by North Carolina law, and any litigation arising out of such dispute shall be brought in the State of North Carolina, County of McDowell.
